Description
Wattle House is set to establish a new and vibrant residential community within the existing suburb of Maidstone. Inspired by the beauty of its natural landscape, these classic homes are masterfully designed for family living. Lush outdoor spaces are met with unrivalled amenities, providing residents with an elevated community lifestyle that is second to none.
Winding pedestrian streetscapes are within arm’s reach, connecting residents to verdant outdoor spaces with a pre-existing park and recreational space, perfect for walking the dog and entertaining the kids at the playground. The height of privacy and security, spacious garages are afforded to each home, safely navigating vehicles through the rear laneways.
The brief for Wattle House was to create family friendly townhomes that make you feel part of a bigger community. The suburb of Maidstone is a family orientated area, which is close to local shopping, restaurants and precincts. It encourages health and wellbeing as it’s close to Maribyrnong River, so it’s perfect for those wanting to look for that blend of an active outdoor lifestyle with their family life.
We’ve focused on essential elements of storage through each space, from the entry and kitchen through to the bedrooms and bathrooms. There’s a signature entry feature storage which allows for added flexibility as you first come into your home. The kitchen is afforded with extra cabinetry, particularly around the island bench and overhead cupboards. We’ve also designed the entry spaces so when you are arriving home or leaving the house, you’ve got wall hooks to hang your jacket or bags, making sure we effectively made use of the space.
All the townhomes have four bedrooms, which allows for flexibility for those seeking to grow their family. The ground floor bedroom can also be used as a multipurpose room, so when your life is changing, your space can change with you.
Maidstone has an abundance of local amenities with Highpoint Shopping Centre just down the road, walking distance from your property. There’s an array of local cafes, restaurants and retail for days when you need to grab a quick cup of coffee or grocery shop. Not too far is the Maribyrnong River and its walking trails, lush open spaces and a bounty of beautiful greenery—all just 8km from the city.
